Rajbiraj Polytechnic Institute, known as RPI, was established in 2077 under partnership modality with CTEVT and Rajbiraj Municipality. This is a non-profit academic organization whose foundation is laid by The Mayor of Rajbiraj Municipality, Shambhu Prasad Yadav who figured out the need of an academic institution that would serve the technical education needs of the modern world in sectors of engineering to accelerate the economy and innovation.
Establishment of this organization provided a platform to the students to attain a comprehensive skill and in-depth knowledge related to engineering and technology. Students have got a medium to understand the scope, principles, norms, accountabilities and bounds of contemporary engineering practice.

Though its initiation was carried out with a very limited physical and infrastructural resource, RPI has been working at a greater pace to fulfill all the academic and administration resources set at the regulatory standard of CTEVT. Availability of all the physical infrastructures and academic resources ensure the college to provide a quality technical education. One of the most prominent characteristics of the organization is its location as it is accessible to the people residing at any corner of Rajbiraj. At the moment, our college is providing the technical courses with a focus on both theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills. So, students will learn to use engineering techniques, tools and resources in systematic engineering synthesis and design processes.

MISSION

The mission of RPI is to produce competent human resources able to work at national and international level and participate in the overall process of development of the country. The institute has been thus established to produce different levels of technical and vocational human resources. RPI also has a mission to provide consultancy and technical services in the respective disciplines. Moreover RPI is willing to make the students competent enough for the global competition.

  • To promote collaborative and participatory works through research workshops, trainings, seminars and consultancy
  • To strengthen and conduct short term training programs and skill development activities.
